Michael McGinn
[edit]Regarding the Michael McGinn article, I suggest you discuss on the talk page of the article the parts of the article that you find biased, and ways to resolve that. There has already been some discussion of this there, as you should be able to see if you review it. Writing articles of this nature is not easy. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 00:18, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi, just wanted to welcome you to wikipedia and echo Demiurge's advise. I'm sure any concerns you have with the article can be addressed in the appropriate venue, the provided talk page. Let me know if I can help. TomPointTwo (talk) 02:24, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:36, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
WP:OUTING
[edit]Do not speculate on the identity of other Wikipedia editors. This is a violation of the WP:OUTING policy, and can result in your being blocked. Thank you for making your original post more generic, but please be more careful in the future.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 20:05, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Understood and I apologize. Would the same accusation leveled against me in the talk page of the McGinn article meet the same threshold? Thugdog Nasty (talk) 01:11, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

I share your concerns regarding Michael McGinn, and will work with you and other editors to improve the article. You have succeeded in gaining the attention of several editors dedicated to the neutral point of view. Please be patient, take the the time to learn the relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines, and realize that improving such a detailed article with such a complex history will take some time. Feel free to ask me any questions on my talk page, and I will do my best to explain my understanding of the policies, and will direct you to the appropriate official pages. One thing that you can do is to help identify coverage in reliable sources that offer a more balanced view of McGinn. I don't live in Seattle, so am unfamiliar with the full range of sources.
