HELP ON Wiki Article Auster AOP.6

[edit]

Hello Threecharlie. Thanks for your help on the Auster AOP.6.How is Italy? I spent a week in Rome in 2005 (nice), and hope to get back there (to the whole country) someday. However, I was glad to find so many people who could speak English, as my Italian was not up to the task.Anyway, thanks again. Raymond Winn (Utah, USA)

Thanks for the note - I have checked the reference and the length was wrong and error on my part (I entered the height and length as the same!) - article has been corrected. Thanks MilborneOne (talk) 20:09, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Fa 223 was definitely named "Drache" (German for "dragon"); "Drachen" looks more like "dragon" but is the German word for "kite". Salmanazar (talk) 15:49, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Short Type 38

[edit]

Hello! About your question in it.wiki Aviation Project, the aircraft number is surely "38", the progress number is compatible with the Short productions done before, see Short_Brothers. Probably the definition "S.38" isn't accurate, in that period was used definition like "type 38"/"Admiralty Type 38"; however S.38 for that aircraft is used: [1] [2]. And, above all "S 38", is used by Flight Magazine 18 May 1912, here the citation: [3]! Bye! --Il palazzo (talk) 08:08, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there Your Excellency ! Nice to see you here too.
In truth, I retrieved a quite reliable source which states it was an S.27. Now it seems I reached a final fix point. Please follow this Naval Historical Society of Australia's link [4] where it is stated :

On January 10, 1912 one of the Royal Navy’s first pilots, Sub-Lieutenant C.R. Samson, flew a Short S.38 (also referred to as a modified Short S.27)

I guess this should address the topic completely. --EH101 (talk) 15:02, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lakes

[edit]

Hello! I've added a small map of Lake Saimaa. But the South Aral Sea is quite difficult, since it's continually shrinking, and I don't have good GIS data for it. Good luck! Citynoise (talk) 11:17, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In this project the valid guideline is the one mentioned at WikiProject Aircraft talk. Anyway you did well in asking for an extensive consensus, due to the fact we are quite unfamiliar here as contributors. If you like to improve your activities here, don't forget to visit my sandbox I dubbed as Italian aircraft unofficial page --EH101 (talk) 13:48, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Compagni di esilio...?

Ciao, Threecharlie...

Grazie ancora, cordialmente, --MLWatts (talk) 13:14, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Grazie mille, also from me. — AdiJapan 13:41, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(Sorry for writing in Italian before) 3C, I have just rememberd about the "Email this user" feature. I've just sent a mail to Austroungarika who, being a sysop, will hopefully be able to add the Romanian banner where it's needed soon. You don't need to contact anyone now. I realize I made a big confusion, I'm sorry about it... --MLWatts (talk) 15:01, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Padua Airport does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Jetstreamer Talk 10:23, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Grammar mistake

[edit]

I'd be delighted, if you avoided further reverts. Your edit brought a grammar mistake into the first sentence of the article... Please don't do that again. As to the discussion official/unofficial: I don't think that the word "unofficial" reflects the reality in a proper way. The word "Trentino" is part of the region's name Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, where Trentino is clearly used as a synonym for the province of Trento. By the way, province of Trento could be easily labelled as "unofficial" as well, since the constitution talks about the autonomous (!) province of Trento. --Mai-Sachme (talk) 16:54, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, can you please add your sources to Valentina Bergamaschi? It is a biography of a living person with no references. It needs them, and for them to be WP:INLINECITED. 'External links' just means 'suggestions for further reading, which may or may not have been used in the writing of this article.' Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 08:29, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, National Archaeological Museum of Adria, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 23:34, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Threecharlie. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "National Archaeological Museum of Adria".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 13:06, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
