Hello, and thanks for editing Wikipedia! Unfortunately you have added material about a person or group that does not satisfy the requirements for inclusion in Wikipedia, see Wikipedia:Notability (broadcasting). This is why the page has been tagged for deletion. You can give your reasons for disagreeing with the tagging on the article's talk page Talk:The Teen Tech Buzz.

But please, do not remove the deletion notice until others have had a chance to look at the page. Thanks. Oswax 01:36, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that podcasts should be allowed to be posted. They are a growing medium and have the right to be put on Wikipedia. Even thogu this podcast may ahve only about 50 listeners, otehr podcasts with more listeners deserve to have an entry.

Maybe so, but you can challenge that one at WP:WEB. Paul Carpenter 12:12, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Thoth, unfortunately all the text you put in for Samuel G. Freedman is copyrighted, and is incompatible with the WP:GFDL. You must rewrite or delete the text. Cheers. Fuzheado | Talk 15:19, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Basic Sam G. Freedman article

[edit]

Hi, I've started over with a very short version of an article on Freedman. Feel free to add info now, as long as it's not copyrighted. Thanks. Fuzheado | Talk 15:55, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I, who created the originally entry and his Freedman's son, will get my dad himself to rerite his bio and bios of his book that are un-copyrighted. Also, I added to the stub including his most recent book, Who She Was. Thoth92 10:59, 1 January 2006 (EST)

Thanks for uploading Image:Samfreed.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 07:22, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Image:Goldman200.jpg

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:Goldman200.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free image with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria.

If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the image can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{non-free fair use in|article name that the image is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the image. If the image has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Goldman200.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Thoth92! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 15 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Joseph Moreau - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
