Prod

[edit]

Thorne, I'm not sure you're using the word "Prod." in the same sense that everyone else is using it (re: your comment in the AfD for List of Region Free Xbox Games).

What does it mean, according to you? DS 01:08, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Cloning Clyde.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cloning Clyde.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:32, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Just a Couple of Days has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article fails WP:NB. Author has no page.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Claritas (talk) 16:11, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Thorne N. Melcher! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 49 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
