Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:29, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

First, you should not be editing about yourself, per WP:COI. Second, inline external links are generally avoided, per WP:EL (if you have added these links previously, they have been reverted). Our candidate pages are not repositories for links to candidates' campaign websites. Frickeg (talk) 07:33, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I see there are links to candidates via their wikipedia pages. If I set up a wikipedia page then I assume that can be added in here. --Thor Prohaska 08:54, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

There are links to notable candidates' Wikipedia pages; as you would notice, the vast majority are not considered notable for our purposes. Writing articles about yourself is strongly discouraged, and in any case as far as I can tell you would have some difficulty passing the general notability guideline (no reflection on you - most of us would!). If you are successful in the election, you would certainly qualify for an article; until then, as I said above, Wikipedia is not the place for self-promotion.
