Unspecified source for Image:Benazir Bhutto assassination.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Benazir Bhutto assassination.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:24, 29 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Vinhtantran (talk) 09:24, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Thompsontough!
[edit]Hello Thompson, I was wondering if you could give us a direct link to that image so it can/may be on wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kanonkas (talk • contribs) 13:26, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Congratulations! We've found the picture on CNN and it can be used on Wikipedia --Kanonkas Take Contact 14:27, 29 December 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kanonkas (talk • contribs)

[edit]Hi man. I'd like to know whether there's any problem using this image to wikipedia in Portuguese or not. There's a kind of info on that I'd like to be sure of that, though. thks in advance. Willgomes (talk) 22:13, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- It would appear that it's been cleared as OK under copyright law. Thompsontough (talk) 22:12, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Nevada caucus 2008 Caesars Palace CNN.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Nevada caucus 2008 Caesars Palace CNN.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Benazir Bhutto assassination.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Benazir Bhutto assassination.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it may be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Megapixie (talk) 06:00, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Edit to Jack Cafferty
[edit]Can you explain what you were trying to do here? The edit summary said "tweaked my own changes per talk" but you also reverted all the changes made by User:Katecasares with no explanation. Mr.Z-man 23:13, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to California Constitution has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. - This was presumably an accident. But if you'd like to discuss the article in detail, I'd be more than happy to do so. Thompsontough (talk) 01:03, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Rollback
[edit]Apologies, I'm just getting used to Huggle and I didn't catch that vandalism on the bottom. I'll be more careful from now on. It's just kind of difficult to take in all this information at once (that is, all the edits being displayed on Huggle). TheXenocide (talk) 01:25, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Hmmm. Uranus and Janus. I don't know any real joke about Uranus. There is no any joke about Janus. And why? Because Janus isn't so famous like Uranus. --Gospodar svemira (talk) 18:29, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Interest ya in a pint?
[edit]A couple of years ago you created Interest ya in a pint? as a redirect to Dwarf. When I first saw the page I assumed it was vandalism but I see that you are a regular contributer so I'll give you the benefit of doubt. Am I missing something or was it just a test that was never reverted? J04n(talk page) 00:20, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Orphaned non-free image File:Redstategravel.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Redstategravel.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:13, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
