Speedy deletion nomination of Target Points Inc.
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Target Points Inc. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Notability
[edit]On Talk:PowerWiz Inc., you wrote:
- Hi, this is the second article I made this week. I believe this article is acceptable, because I followed a third party point of view, and followed the standards of other business companies. If there is a problem with the page, please let me know what the problem is, so I can not make the same mistake again.
So, here's the problem with the page: there is no assertion on the page (nor any evidence to be found by searching online) that this is a notable company. While you have properly adhered to the neutrality guidelines, you have not given us any indication about why this company should be included in an encyclopedia. Recall, Wikipedia is not a business directory that includes listings for every business that exists. Rather, it is a compendium of information about topics that have been demonstrated to be notable based on the existence of significant coverage in reliable third party sources. Since none of the articles you've created list any significant independent sources (BBB listings to not count as significant coverage), and since no significant third party coverage can be found, you articles are being tagged for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of NazPay Inc.
[edit]Hello ThisGuy101,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged NazPay Inc. for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TimothyJosephWood 17:07, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, ThisGuy101. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Nazaire & Co., you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:17, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
- Judging by your contributions so far, it looks as if you may have some connection to the Nazaire Group. If so, you should declare that connection, and you are strongly discouraged from editing or attempting to create any page related to the company or its subsidiaries. On the bright side, we have more than five million articles on other topics, and many of them need attention. Regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:22, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

@GeneralizationsAreBad: Hello GAB. I was curious to know why Nazaire & Co. was deleted. I had used 3rd party sources to site the article. Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThisGuy101 (talk • contribs)
- The only third-party source was a BBB business review. That's not enough to establish notability. Further, nothing in the article set the company out as significant or important. —C.Fred (talk) 16:44, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
@C.Fred: Yes, BBB was cited, but I also had content from PRweb.com which had articles written about Nazaire & Co. on it. I used that as my 3rd party source.
- PRweb.com is not a third party source; PRweb.com publishes press releases, which are written by the subject companies.
