Disambiguation link notification for June 28
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited On the Run Tour (Beyoncé and Jay-Z), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alexander Wang (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Mrs. Carter
Hey Lolcakes25. I'm planning to co-nominate The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour for GA status again with you if you agree of course. My love is love (talk) 19:05, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- @My love is love: Hey! Yes I agree, however when looking at the assessment here: Talk:The_Mrs._Carter_Show_World_Tour/GA1 it mostly failed due to some of the sources etc. Do you think this should be checked at before renominating. I would appreciate your help on it since there is quite a lot. What do you think? --Lolcakes25 (talk) 19:09, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, most of the sources that the editor listed can be used for GAs. The Sun is used in "Halo", New York Daily News was used in "Diamonds" etc. So we will just point out these to the next reviewer and there will be no problem. Plus, some of them can be replaced as they are used mostly in the critical reception section and alternative sources from here can be used. My love is love (talk) 19:15, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- @My love is love: Yes, I did think they was being a little harsh on some of the references, some are completely valid and reliable. So yes, please go ahead and renominate for sure :) (oh and thank you for the concert synopsis section of the On the Run Tour and it being basically complete after the first show!) --Lolcakes25 (talk) 19:20, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, great. It was nothing. My love is love (talk) 19:24, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- @My love is love: Now that we have essentially met all the criteria needed in the review, how do we get the reviewer to approve everything again and award GA? --Lolcakes25 (talk) 12:38, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
- We will just wait for him to see the improvements and see if it satisfied his requests. He will add something if he feels that there are still things to be improved. My love is love (talk) 14:45, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

@My love is love: Hey, so the GA is basically all passed apart from I think 3 of the sources you disputed (The one for critical commentary, the one in Diamonds FA and another one the reviewer was uncertain on.) Obviously whenever you have time I thought you could get back to him on that since you disputed them. Thanks --Lolcakes25 (talk) 19:50, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

DYK for The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour
On 14 July 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, a tour by Beyoncé, was so called after her husband, Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. @My love is love: Belated congratulations to you both on getting The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour to GA, I can't even imagine working on a tour article with its very different components and multitude of sources! —JennKR | ☎ 22:41, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
- @JennKR: Thank you so much, it was a lot of work (as I'm sure you know), but I love Beyoncé, concert tours generally interest me and I had great help with MLIL so it was a great experience (and my first main GA!). Hopefully I will get the On the Run Tour there too some day. Actually while you are here, would you mind quickly looking at the last section of the talk page in the OTR article and let me know what you think. (It's nothing big don't worry, just not sure the proper procedure and how to go about it). Thanks again Lolcakes25 (talk) 22:49, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
- @JennKR: Thank you a lot JennKR. I think you managed to do the same thing with Beyoncé (album) and created a great article. And @Lolcakes25: my love for Beyoncé is actually what motivates me to work on her articles. I was left speechless by her performances during the tour, especially the one for "Freakum Dress". My love is love (talk) 03:09, 15 July 2014 (UTC)
- @My love is love: It was incredible, I attended both the 2013 and 2014 shows in London, but I have to say obviously the 2014 shows with the new album was easily the better night. It was also the first night Jay-Z came out to perform "Drunk in Love"! Did you attend at all?
- Yeah, I agree. I also think the 2014 shows were better. Plus Jay-Z was great during the London concerts from what I've seen on YouTube - you must have had a great time. She actually never came where I live which is in Macedonia. And I don't think she will ever do. Maybe I could have gone to the first show in Serbia, which is north to where I live, but stil it was pretty far. I'm just going to wait for another album and a tour. If she comes to Serbia again I'm defitely going. My love is love (talk) 00:23, 16 July 2014 (UTC)
- @My love is love: I'm sure she will return to Serbia on her next tour, they was a huge audience and sold out really quickly as far as I can remember. I just hope she does so people like you who deserve to see her can finally get too :) Lolcakes25 (talk) 01:29, 16 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi Lolcakes25
Hello, I'm kind of new here and still finding my way around. I realized you have posting privileges on Beyonce's page. Her philanthropic ventures in 2014 are not accurately represented, hopefully you can help improve that section of her page.
She donated $500,000 to find the Chime projects for girls and women in areas of Education, Health and Justice.
http://www.chimeforchange.org/beyonce-knowles-carter-donates-500000-to-chime-projects/
Secondly, she donated $7 million to help build a housing shelter in Houston.
http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/5570609
In 2007 together with Kelly Rowland donated $1.2 million toward the building of the 'Knowles - Rowland Temenos Place Apartments' in Houston.
Hoping you'll be able to make these changes.
Thanks :)

- Hey, you should post that information in the articles talk page, where more editors can see it and include it. I will do my best to include when I have time, however obviously every single philanthropic act cannot be included so as not to clog the page up. Lolcakes25 (talk) 18:11, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
Ah okay. I actually did but it was ignored. Thank you!

On the Run Tour: Beyoncé and Jay Z
Hello Lolcakes. Do you know if there are credits and personnel for the On the Run Tour: Beyoncé and Jay Z special? I Am... ***D.D. 15:20, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- @My love is love: Hey! I don't know if there is a book or an online source that states the credits yet, but you can see the full list of credits at the end of the special here: http://mrworldpremieretv.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/on-run.html#more – I'm not sure what the rules are for sourcing credits in specials like this though, but all the information can be found there ThirdWard (Lolcakes25) (talk) 15:30, 26 September 2014 (UTC)

Accidental redirect?
I happened to notice that in addition to having userboxes and information on your userpage, there's code telling the page to redirect here to your talk. Out of curiosity, is there any reason for that? Snuggums (talk / edits) 00:15, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
- @SNUGGUMS: Hey! I changed it a while back just to redirect to the talk page so that both userboxes, information and all talk posts would be in one place, rather than switching between the two. I saw a few other users had it this way and thought it was a nice idea. I just never got around to removing anything from my user page! But apart from that there is no particular reason ThirdWard (Lolcakes25) (talk) 16:20, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
Beyonce
Regarding this edit, you need to take it up with User:IndianBio, @IndianBio:, because he reverted me for using that source on Mariah Carey saying it's not reliable. — ₳aron 09:16, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Calvin999: Hey! Sorry I never really meant to get in a reverting war with you, but there's no doubt it is a reliable source. Also, Indian Bio has not reverted my edit on the Beyoncé page, and just because he did it to you it doesn't automatically make the source not reliable. It's possible he may have not realised Wealth-X is a very reliable source (it's a company dedicated to high net worth individuals and has offices all over the world). There is also a Wikipedia page that has a huge chunk of its article based on Wealth-X's information (see Ultra high-net-worth individual#World Ultra Wealth Report), which has never been challenged for being unreliable there. He may have confused it with other, not reliable celebrity net worth sites like http://www.celebritynetworth.com/ ThirdWard (Lolcakes25) (talk) 12:13, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
- Perhaps he doesn't have Beyoncé on his watchlist. I did it on Celine Dion's too but I reverted myself because he reverted it on Mariah Carey. Either way the both of you need to discuss it because I've got one reverting me saying it's not reliable and another reverting me saying it is reliable. — ₳aron 12:19, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Calvin999: I will discuss it with him if he decides to revert my edits and I will provide him with the necessary information to show it is a reliable source. It's not my responsibility to challenge him for reverting your edits though, you can do that yourself. Here is some information perhaps:
- Perhaps he doesn't have Beyoncé on his watchlist. I did it on Celine Dion's too but I reverted myself because he reverted it on Mariah Carey. - @Calvin999: Thank you for reviewing the DYK, it was my first nomination so I wasn't sure if the alternatives were supposed to be different variations of the same hook, or completely different hooks. If I wanted to add new hooks like you suggested, would I need to re-nominate, or just edit the existing template, or is it too late now that it has been 7 days since GA? Thanks ThirdWard (talk) 16:44, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, alternatives are supposed to be different really, not the same thing reworded, because it's essentially the same thing still :). No just add one or two others after my comment. It doesn't matter than it's more than 7 days old because it was within 7 days when you nominated. — ₳aron 17:37, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

ThirdWard, I just removed this nomination from Prep 4 where you had promoted it. It's clear you're not aware of the DYK rules that state that no creator/nominator should ever promote their own hooks to a prep area.
For that matter, even reviewers or people who have proposed a hook for someone else's nomination should not promote the hooks to prep: we need an independent recheck at the point of promotion.
Please be patient; the hook will be promoted in due course. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:48, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset: Apologies. The rules state it is "discouraged", not forbidden, and I did it on my previous DYK without problem because days went past without any change. But in this particular nomination I did not wait very long, so I understand. ThirdWard (talk) 19:41, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
- In actual practice, promoting one's own hook is so strongly discouraged these days as to be effectively forbidden. If someone had noticed last time, you would have been reverted then. These hooks are going to the main page, and the more people checking at more steps, the better. Even if it takes a while, please wait for an uninvolved party to promote to prep. At the moment, we have nearly a week's worth of approved nominations waiting for promotion to prep—this is an average wait time—so it's not a good idea for people to intervene to give their own hooks a leg up.
