Thanks for the response

Ive had a look at external link policy and I believe an external link here would be justified as our website contains the potential for further research in this field (we have info on our skateboard events at Tudor Grange skate park, guides for skate spots in the area and how-to guides for all manner of skateboard related subjects) all of which I believe would be of interest to skateboarders reading this wiki piece.

Im meeting with the Council Events team next week so I'll get further clarification from them and ensure they concur that an external link is beneficial here.

If you don't mind, I'll add it back in for now and can get them to remove should they deem necessary?

No, you shouldn't add it back. You clearly have a conflict of interest and are using Wikipedia to promote your business. That is blatantly against Wikipedia policy. Please read the following Wikipedia policies: WP:COI, WP:PAID, WP:PROMO. Additionally, your username is a violation since it promotes a business and likely implies shared use. Hi. The changes were to include further information on skateboarding in Solihull as I run the local skateboard charity/shop. The website contains details on skate spots in Solihull and on the free events and skate lessons that we run. I believe this complies with policies for making further research/information on the subject available. Thanks
