You might also want to read the guideline WP:MUSIC to see the generally accepted criteria for inclusion on musicians and WP:WEB for websites. - Bobet 22:37, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
I accidentally deleted your email to my 'ohnoitsjamie' account before I read it (it ended up in the "bulk mail" folder for some reason). Would you mind resending it? Jasmol 21:48, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Got your message; no problem. I've inadvertantly screwed up my share of edits.
If you're the the subject of the article, no offense was meant by my comments regarding the MIDI. I just don't believe there is much room for innovation and groundbreaking in the MIDI aspect of MIDI music. It's a rather simple protocol. Jasmol 23:16, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
The "Controversy"
[edit]Either (1) you don't understand Wikipedia or (2) you do and you're trying to make a mockery of it. You seem to be an intelligent guy and could potentially be a valuable contributor. You're taking this afd personally; an affront to your ego? I don't mean that as a dis. We all have egos. I don't doubt your accomplishments and abilities. It's not about that. It's about drawing a line in the sand regarding "notability." Wikipedia is not a repository of impressive CVs. It's an encyclopedia.
May I suggest that you transfer the content from the "Michael Haddad" page to your user page? That would have been suggested much earlier in the debate had you revealed yourself to be the subject of the article. Regards, Jasmol 03:46, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
Vanity edits
[edit]Regarding your repeated attempts to add your name to List_of_Arab_Americans. This afd debate should have already established consensus in this area. Also, please refer to Wikipedia vanity guidelines. The same applies to inserting names of friends in Wikipedia unless those friends meet Wikipedia guidelines for notability. Image copyright problem with Image:CC371.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:CC371.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. --OrphanBot 08:04, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Teachers schools society.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Teachers schools society.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:09, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sexual Meditation small.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Sexual Meditation small.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 08:37, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Resistance dance
[edit]The article Resistance dance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unreferenced original research
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Vrac (talk) 02:51, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
