(An)drew madinc
[edit]- Hey - I'm also quite new, so I don't know how much help I will be, but I've had a similar problem, I think you haven't explained in enough detail why this guy is notable (see [[1]] for details). Hope this helps.--ScribbleStick (talk) 09:14, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Hello and thank you for the message I looked at the content and perhaps the problems is I do not know how to "set up" this article properly? concerning (an)drew madinc. or [[2]] Can you help? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Theother1986 (talk • contribs) 09:39, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, I'll try cleaning it up a bit for you (I doubt it will stop the deletion from going to the next level). Just so you know, it's customary to add --~~~~ to the end of you post on talkpage (it leaves your name and the time/date).
Let me know if I can be of further assistance (though I would probably ask somone more experienced). --ScribbleStick (talk) 09:52, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
thank you so much I hope this helps! --ScribbleStick (talk) 10:04, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your help! I hope it works! user:theother1986 —Preceding undated comment added 10:09, 30 April 2009 (UTC).
- That okay - but don't forget to sign your posts (See WP:SIG because my explaination clearly didn't work) --ScribbleStick (talk) 10:18, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok thank you...I am learning and will try to see if it works this time?--Theother1986 (talk) 10:20, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
thank you again I hope this "signing works" cheers really I appreciate it!--Theother1986 (talk) 10:22, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
- Perfect! Now the next piece of Wiki convention is that you try to keep a conversation on the same page (It means somebody else can easily follow the conversation without having to go back and forth). Generally speaking the conversation goes on the page it was started on (in this case yours - plus I've already been adding the conversation as we go along). To make sure I know you have left a message on your page go to my page and post {{tb|Theother1986}} which will leave a message saying
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
.
- Try it out if you want. --ScribbleStick (talk) 10:33, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok I think I got this now! --Theother1986 (talk) 10:40, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
- Awesome! I'm logging off now (I'm in New Zealand and it's 10:45pm) but stay in touch.
- Hope I've been helpful

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page (AN)drew Madinc. (visual painter) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/revoindustries, http://www.myspace.com/revoindustries (redirect from http://www.myspace.com/revoindustries)).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 09:29, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 10:10, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for explaining and making it easy by giving the icon for me. --Theother1986 (talk) 10:21, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Removal of speedy delete tags
[edit]Hiya. I've reinserted the speedy delete tags on the article, as they should be left for an admin to decide if it meets the speedy delete criteria or not. Quantpole (talk) 11:38, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok but I am still adding "refs" How long does this usually take do you know? --Theother1986 (talk) 11:42, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with (AN)drew Madinc. (visual painter). Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. JCutter (talk) 11:46, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
I posted a note as a "talk" on the page, and am still updating it. Thank you--Theother1986 (talk) 11:55, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
You will see now that an admin has reviewed the request and declined it, so you're OK for the moment! Quantpole (talk) 12:32, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Yes thank you however I am horrible at grammar, and it needs to be cleaned up. Hopefully someone that has the time will clean it up a bit before (an)drew madinc. "runs" into it. Thank you again--Theother1986 (talk) 12:39, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
