User talk:Themumblingprophet
I've archived a discussion of my draft article for Robert Firestone. It was my first contribution to Wikipedia and got rejected. Not interested in him anymore so I removed the clutter... Themumblingprophet (talk) 01:57, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
Universal approximation: I think I'm doing the right thing by using your talk page! You offered to review changes to the universal approximation article on its talk page. (I was the previously-anonymous user offering to update the page.) I've put a proposed version in my sandbox.
Essential changes:
- Updated out-of-date results (by 20 years...)
- Now describe the arbitrary width and depth cases using similar language to each other
- General tidy-up, so the article is now shorter.
- Added additional references
COI:
- I wrote one of the papers that's now being discussed! It generalises+simplifies previous work, so I think it's fair.

- PatrickKidger this is great! I read over it a couple times and the article in your sandbox seems to be much better than what is currently on the page. Thanks for the contribution! I would like a chance to look at it in a bit more depth this weekend before signing off on the merge-in, it that's ok. The subject is a bit new to me. : ) Themumblingprophet (talk) 02:06, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- Themumblingprophet Excellent; no rush. Let me know your thoughts. PatrickKidger (talk) 17:15, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
