[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Abd al-Qays, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 11:32, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hello there, Materialscientist. I have added 2 out out of many well known sources in Arabic. It is well known, with evidence, in The Gulf region and the wider Arab World that the Baharna are of Arab ancestry from Banu Rab’ia tribes, and more specifically from the Banu Abd-Al-Qays (عبد القيس). In recent years some groups of people have been attempting to claim that the Baharna are of Non-Arab or mixed ancestry to discredit the well known fact that’s verified in many reliable sources, that the Baharna are the original Arabs who lived in Eastern Arabia. These claims have been motivated for political reasons and for the purpose of inducing sectarian strife. Adding this outrageously false information to Wikipedia only credits these false claims.
