[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for reverting your recent experiment with the page Ebenezer Adams. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead, as someone could see your test before you revert it. Thank you. BMK (talk) 22:48, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
- Also, please do not make unnecessary changes to the talk pages of other users, as you did to User talk:Carlossuarez46. Generally speaking, users have wide latitude in how to format and maintain their user and user talk pages, and other editors should not interfere with that. BMK (talk) 22:54, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
Aligning columns in infoboxes
[edit]So, you've been aligning columns in infoboxes, which is fine, and can help keep things tidy and easier to read, but why have you aligned them so far away from the field names? That actually makes it harder to read, since the parameter is so far away from the name. It's best if aligning columns to leave one blank space between the "=" sign and the longest field name -- and if there's an espacially long field name, align to the next longest and let that one field be different. Neat and tidy is fine, but not at the expense of ease of reading for the editor. Thanks, BMK (talk) 23:10, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
