RE: Autopia (Doctor Who)
[edit]O.K. The reason it won't show up in the search bar is that the article is relatively new. However, if you search for it, it comes up to that article. Give it a few days and it will show up in the search bar (i.e I've created an asteroid article called 183560 Křišťan. If you search for that in the search bar, it doesn't show up, but if you search for it, it goes to that page.)
As for searching for Autopia and the Disneyland Autopia coming up by default, you could create a disambiguation page called Autopia, and put {{disambiguation}} template at the bottom of the page.
If you do this, you would have to request a page name change for the Disneyland Autopia Autopia to something diffrent. You should discuss the change on the talk page first though.
As a suggestion, you might want to move the pages name from Autopia (Doctor Who) to Autopia (Doctor Who comic). You can do this by scrolling over to the downward arrow beside the star and clicking on "move". You don't have to discuss that change, as the article is somewhat new.
Another good piece of advice is not to display your e-mail address on your userpage, for privacy reasons. Cheers. Battleaxe9872 Talk 17:44, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for that mate, that's really helpful. I changed the name and have put a request for their name change on their discussion. The thing I'm worried about is that their last comment was in 2008. What if they don't read it?

- Taken care of. I've added the disambig to your article. My appoligies, the article name change is not needed, and the disambiguation page is not needed. I've only been on Wikipedia for a month and a half myself, so I don't have everything down quite yet.
RE:Question
[edit]It shows up after a few sections. I'm not sure how many. Battleaxe9872 Talk 01:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
basics section on your user page
[edit]"I'm The Farty Doctor, I joined Wiki very nearly three years but it's recently that I'm actually understanding it and starting to contribute what I know to it." there are two problems:
- "I joined Wiki very nearly three years" that is for as far as I know no English.
- "I joined Wiki very nearly three years" If I'm correct you are telling us you have joined Wikipedia three years ago but here:
you say you have been on Wikipedia for 5 years. clearly a contradiction.
- Firstly, be so kind as to leave your signature and time stamp so I am able to answer you directly. Secondly, this is obviously due to me having not edited it. The last time I checked, having a user page with non-current information wasn't the end of the world. I'm much busier in the real world with my studies having been studying on a full-time course for over four years now. I thank you for raising this issue but you could also have adopted a nicer and more acceptable tone.

- I'm very sorry for posting this as it was intended as a joke but looking back at it is a very stupid joke and has a mean tone. I was probably very bored and tired. keep up the good work.--Casvdschee (talk) 18:20, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
Signature examples
[edit]Greetings! I am sending this to everyone who has posted to the talk page for WP:Smurrayinchester's signature tutorial, has a customized signature, and appears to be still active. I have created a section for real-life signature examples and I'm soliciting a few more contributions to that section. If you would like to add your signature, simply edit the new section and sign it. Have a nice day! Mandruss |talk 01:49, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
