Guards Division

[edit]

The Guards Division is one of six adminstrative depots for the operational battalions of infantry in the British Army - the others are the Scottish Division, King's Division, Queen's Division, Prince of Wales' Division and Light Division. This is different to the Household Division, which is a ceremonial grouping of all British Army regiments that are classed as "guards" (the five regiments of foot guards and the Household Cavalry). Please note that the Household Cavalry is classed as a seperate corps in its own right and is listed operationally alongside the Royal Armoured Corps - Hammersfan 3rd November 2005 14:10

Thanks for your interest in the article. I agree completely that a lot of improvement is needed. Please feel free to help! Papa November 22:31, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I'm afraid I disagree that it is the worst article on Wikipedia. If you're interested, I can point you towards tens of thousands of articles which are far worse! Papa November 22:36, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
