Violation of WP:Neutral point of view at Mikis Theodorakis
[edit]Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Mikis Theodorakis. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. For example, here. EdJohnston (talk) 00:43, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
You've been reported at the WP:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard

I have removed some of your edits to Mikis Theodorakis. If you disagree with content please take to the talk page, seriously.—Sandahl (talk) 01:58, 21 January 2009 (UTC) This is The old Athenian I am not familiar with your editing rules. I am trying to understand them now. About Theodorakis entry ( jews). The existing entry is not telling the whole truth about him. One needs to wonder why it has been allowed to stand unbalanced. The entry as is It deals with one event only. His author refuses to balance it or present it in its historical context.
The views of Theodorakis about the treatment of the Palestinians by the government of Israel are known. They are similar to the views of millions of people around the globe. Indeed they are similar to the views of many Israelis in Israel and of the many jews around the globe. The effort to try to present Theodorakis as "insane" ( since the 1990s!!!! ) is criminally suspect if not right out stupid. The charge of anti-semitism has always worked better but even that is no longer as effective.
A good representation of Theodorakis attitudes towards "Jews" must include his life long believes and acts on this subject. It is not an act of anti-semitism to oppose the government of Israel. Thank you for allowing me to be here. PS I am closely familiar with the tactics used by "campus watch" and the other similar groups when they are harming the lives of people that dare tell the truth.
Restoring ethnic soapbox text to the Mikis Theodorakis article for a third time, after a final warning. (For details of the issue, see the post at WP:BLPN). EdJohnston (talk) 04:08, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
