Hello. Can't think of anything else to say!

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Moon has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. L Kensington (talkcontribs) 02:52, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Moon, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Bongwarrior (talk) 03:00, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of indefinitely for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
   The edit summary
I'M NOT DOING THIS MY FRIEND IS PLEASE DON'T BLOCK ME
purports that the account is not under the control of a single editor. Whether that (in any case vandalistic) edit was made by the account holder (apparently falsely attributing the edit content to the friend) or by the friend (falsely claiming in the summary to be the account holder), either the account was not under the control of a single user, as required, or the degree of bad faith by a single account user is intolerable. The account holder should start a new account, or obtain the cooperation of an admin who both
can (if such a thing is feasible) verify a change of password and
is satisfied with the account holder's subsequent explication of the previous duplicity,
and therefore chooses to un-block.

124.171.22.1 (talkcontribsinfoWHOIS) wrote on my talk page as follows:

This is "The Rogue Leader" speaking. And I wish to ask why I was blocked. And as I have stated in the title, it's NOT FAIR! I'll tell you the story of what happened:

My friend was over at my house, and asked if he could use my Computer. I was signed in on Wikipeda at that moment. A while later, he told me that it said that I had a final warning for vandalism. I asked if he was "randomlingly typig in sh*t on Wikipedia", which he confirmed. I told him to sign out if he wanted to do that because otherwise it'll be under my account.

Now I understand that "Final Warning" mean that if I do it one more time, I'll be blocked. And my friend DIDN'T do it again, no did I. So why should I be blocked? It's not fair!--124.171.22.1 (talk) 05:10, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose that you understand that "warning" generally means "if you do A, B will (or is likely to) follow", and doesn't imply "refraining from A will prevent B from occurring". So i assume you think that i intended my block on your account as an implementation of the warning you received -- even tho that is surprising, since i made no reference to the warning and stated a different reason.
Listen carefully: one condition of your editing privileges is your ensuring that no other person can execute edits using your account. (I didn't find it stated at Wikipedia:Username policy, but it has been enforced before, and i'll stand by it until shown a specific policy -- not a general one -- that rules it out.) If you need to log off from WP every time you step away from the terminal to keep your friends from editing in your name, then log off from WP every time you step away from the terminal. That applies even if you get rid of all your friends who would even think of vandalizing WP, bcz you are answerable for every edit, signed or not, that your account makes, and in fact you hold a copyright on it: GFDL is a legal document, and the copy-left status of WP's content rests on our good-faith belief that every (non-public-domain content) edit you make is something you personally hold the copyright for. (Look at the edit history of soil crust if you don't think that that is taken seriously by those who understand the legal issues better than i do.)
All that being said, there's something else you should mull over: you implicitly describe your willingness for your friend to vandalize WP using your 'Net-access resources, and your only misgiving (now that you know you'll be blocked if it takes place via your account) seems to be that your resources facilitate abuse only without your account being identified. I doubt very much that there is a policy that says you should be blocked as a vandal-sympathizer or -facilitator; still, i'd be surprised if your gross irresponsibility did not impede restoration of your account's editing privileges.

Not Fair

[edit]

This is "The Rogue Leader" speaking. And I wish to ask why I was blocked. And as I have stated in the title, it's NOT FAIR! I'll tell you the story of what happened:

I'm copying the above to User talk:The Rogue Leader#August 2010 and responding there.
--Jerzyt 19:00, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So this is how U treat me?

[edit]

I posted a new reply a while ago on here. U have not replied, and have merely deleted my new message. I am not impressed with how U are ignoring my issue.--210.84.6.111 (talk) 05:06, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since you are clueless enuf to sign an edit as User:210.84.6.111 -- a pseudo-anonymous IP-address that had in fact never before been used to edit a page on the site of the English-language Wikipedia -- yet claimed that you previously "posted" on either this talk page or this site, i will assume you have so little idea of how the site works that you are unable to communicate coherently abt this. (This also raises the possibility that you don't know how to save your edits -- and haven't really "posted" anything -- or that you don't know how to keep track of where you've done your editing.)
Aha! That thot reminded me of my first 12 hours of editing, when
i first laid eyes on User:Jerzy after having edited User talk:Jerzy,
had no idea that i owned two separate pages whose titles started and ended identically, and
complained by referring (much more decorously than you complained to me) to "mysterious... blanking".
Starting over, then, in light of what i learned in the course of research for writing the two immediately preceding paragraphs:
You indeed recapitulated my early error by placing on User:Jerzy the following:

=== Not Fair===
" All that being said, there's something else you should mull over: you implicitly describe your willingness for your friend to vandalize WP using your 'Net-access resources, and your only misgiving (now that you know you'll be blocked if it takes place via your account) seems to be that your resources facilitate abuse only without your account being identified. I doubt very much that there is a policy that says you should be blocked as a vandal-sympathizer or -facilitator; still, i'd be surprised if your gross irresponsibility did not impede restoration of your account's editing privileges."

You honestly expect me to say "Don't vandalise Wikipedia, it's not good."?! As if I'm going to tell my best friend not to.

And, please, make your messages simple, I barely understand what u r on about.--124.169.137.21 (talk) 04:20, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    compounding it by
  1. Ignoring the message that appears between the first and second horizontal rules on User:Jerzy, which read:
I am likely to miss messages you leave for me on this page, for as long a month or more. Messages belong on User talk:Jerzy, generally at the bottom of the page.
  2. Deciding to place your addition at the bottom of the page, without either
__ examining the structure of the page to be sure where the most appropropriate place would be -- a task which should have led to your seeing the (then un-struckthru) second copy of that passage -- or
__ having the presence of mind for your curiosity to be piqued, upon your going to the bottom of the edit pane where the cursor was positioned directly below the last existing line, by the coincidence of that line ending with the words "bottom of the page". (Our animal curiosity exists largely to make us notice coincidences and at least briefly examine them, presenting the opportunity to distinguish between mere coincidences and things that coincide for a relevant reason -- in this case, the reason of being part of a message whose effect is to tell you not to add anything at the bottom of the page you were about to add something on.)
__ on coming here, not noticing the profound differences in name, format, length, diversity of content, and diversity of authorship between the two pages.
In a line, you made a careless but presumably innocent error in accusing me of erasing your message; the absence of links or other usable hints as to who you were and what in the world you were talking about is in significant part explained by your mistaken beliefs, so i'd be unfair were i to quibble over the remainder of the annoyance inflicted.
I have made a sacrifice in saying so much, out of an excess of caution lest it seem we are negligent about avoiding biting the newcomers, and i will say further only this:
Due to my substantial effort, i can now recognize you as a particular user whom i blocked for failing to protect against use of your account by others. I may forget about you again, unless you continue the annoyance of pursuing the matter with me, rather than as you were instructed to pursue it by the "blocked" message on your registered ID's talk page. (My ID's is this talk page, User talk:Jerzy, and you should remember your registered ID -- as i do not -- and thus be able to find your own.) If and when you resolve that, i will set some conditions before assisting you further in finding your way on Wikipedia, and you may feel it is more efficient and equally satisfying to seek the general assistance you could use among other colleagues. But your previous errors in our interaction would be remediable in ways that should be inherently beneficial to you, so please consider not treating this as rejection of you.
--Jerzyt 11:38 & 20:29, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
BTW, i do have comments on the content of your msg to me that got lost for a week and some. Those comments will wait until you deal with your block from editing as WP's procedures call for.
--Jerzyt 20:29, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh! You're User:The Rogue Leader! I forgot you'd earlier responded higher on this talk page, rather than where i first addressed you. I'll connect the two pages, for the sake of other admins' access to the above discussion, and join these two sections as sub-sections of a new section.
--Jerzyt 20:38, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Now you are just being rude. Why can't we settle this pecefully? I am sorry for this incident, and I just want to be unblocked, as I have always anjoyed editing Wikipedia (No, I do not mean vandalism, I mean properly sourced information), and I like my old account ;) .--124.171.10.74 (talk) 11:22, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I doesn't concern me to any significant extent that you consider my response rude; if it makes you dislike me, then there it is.
The difficulties between us are solely because you think i owe you something that i am convinced i do not, and you apparently think perseverance on your part will change the situation. (Which i assure you neither perseverance nor perseveration would do.) There will be peace between us when you stop pointlessly communicating with me. Perhaps that would be somewhat like the peace of the grave, but i find that better than what you are doing, and i'm surprised that your mileage so drastically differs.
As i have told you before, your only road to your account being unblocked lies in taking seriously the following instruction

If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text

{{unblock|Your reason here}}

but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

which you were given, what, months ago?, nearer to the top of the page, when i blocked you.

Proposed deletion of Ch Ching (Cheque 1 2)

[edit]

The article Ch Ching (Cheque 1 2) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references, no claim of notability, fails WP:NSONG and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
