A&M Records
[edit]Hi. I realized you made a lot of adjustments to the A&M page, but you seemed to have removed relevant information. For instance, why was the section on A&M (uk) removed? Imperatore (talk) 06:09, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Redirect of Category:Multi network shows
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Multi network shows, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Multi network shows is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Multi network shows, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Orphaned non-free media (File:Nonesuch records logo.jpeg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Nonesuch records logo.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:02, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:NE-popcorn love.JPG
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:NE-popcorn love.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 22:52, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Giant Records (Warner Bros. subsidiary label)
[edit]Please don't move pages without first asking for a consensus, preferably at WP:RM. "Giant/Warner Bros. Records" goes against naming conventions, as the label's true name was indeed "Giant Records". Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Many otters • One hammer • HELP) 03:56, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
- There are two labels with that name, so the (Warner Bros. subsidiary label) part is needed to clarify which Giant Records we're talking about. Also, we have conventions on how to name articles, and "Giant/Warner Bros. Records" doesn't fall under that convention. Just so you are aware of official policy: WP:SIG: Signatures must include at least one internal link to your user page, user talk page, or contributions page; this allows other editors easy access to your talk page and contributions log. The lack of such a link is widely viewed as obstructive. If, while making modifications, you accidentally disable this link, see Wikipedia:How to fix your signature. When you insert your signature on your talk page or user page a link to that page will appear black, bold and inactive, so test your signature elsewhere. The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 06:43, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- I see you still have not changed your signature. Please be aware disabling links in your signature to your user page, talk page and contributions is considered Wikipedia:Disruptive editing and could therefore lead to a block, even if you are making constructive contributions. The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 01:10, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- Signature reactivated. Thanks for the tip. You should, however, concentrate on the accuracy of your own edits instead of worrying about whether or not my signature has a hyperlink. Again, thanks for the tip -- this conversation is now over, please do not write back. —The Real One Returns (talk) 03:47, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Lead sections
[edit]Please do not cut or remove lead sections from articles, as you did here. Per WP:LEAD, the section serves as an introduction to the article and as a summary of the important aspects of the subject of the article. Also, please do not link dates. That practice is long deprecated, see WP:UNLINKDATES for further information. Thank you. — ξxplicit 06:49, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:02, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mhiji 22:40, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Hi, The Real One Returns. Mind explaining in the above linked discussion why you made this edit and your take on whether there should be separate articles for these characters? Flyer22 (talk) 19:51, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- I felt that it was inappropriate to create an article/section for this character until the reveal was complete. Editors were prematurely concluding that Trevor St. John was Victor Lord Jr., prior to the episode that confirmed it. Even with heavy innuendo and correct hunches, articles shouldn't be edited until everything is completely verified.The Real One Returns (talk) 04:11, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, I considered that as your reason as well. Although, you really didn't have to remove the whole section; it could have been edited away from naming St. John as Victor Lord II. The character won't be getting an article, per what has been stated in the linked discussion above, but he can be given a spot on the character list. I'll go ahead and undo your edit, since he has been revealed as Victor Lord, Jr. now. If that changes in the future, it can always be changed to name Howarth's Todd as the impostor. I've reverted the changes made to the above referenced article pertaining to the relationship of Irene and Peter Manning. While maintaining the verifiable, I have included content that indicates that Todd Manning (while berating his mother in the October 3, 2011 episode) made a remark that indicated that Irene was Peter's cousin. Please note that while we would prefer at times to only include that which we personally determine to be "truthful", Wikipedia is limited to that which is verifiable. For more information, please see our verifiability policy. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Best regards, Cind.amuse (Cindy) 22:01, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Swv-cosign.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Swv-cosign.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:12, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please dont base the sources you look for on your opinion of what genre the album is (WP:GWAR). Instead, the most reliable sources available on the topic should be researched, and whatever comes from those should be used (WP:STICKTOSOURCE). Issues about record label and release history table
[edit]Hi @The Real One Returns. Proposed deletion
[edit]The article Joya (singer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No independent references and no reason to assume notability; everything I can find online relates to a different singer of the same name, based in China
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
