Maps
[edit]The maps work perfectly. Somehow, Wikimedia Commons had zapped the PNG rendering of the locater dot. I've re-uploaded it, and it works fine.

Great power
[edit]You made comments on the Great power talk page to the effect that Italy was not a great power, and then you added it to the list of unquestioned Great powers. Am I missing something?
I didn't notice your comments at first (they were interspersed, I only noticed it on the edit history) so I reverted your change a little too hastily, I'm afraid. Was your change intentional? If so, what made you change your mind? If not, my hasty revert ends up working properly by accident.
Forget it, I don't know what I'm talking about. I put the article back the way you had it. I must have been delusional or something... CRGreathouse (t | c) 03:16, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Please use caution when reverting
[edit]I reverted your senseless reversion the Freedom in the World article. That phrase is already in the intro to the article; there's no need to repeat it four more times. I will be watching the article; be careful not to cross the line between careless reversion and vandalism. 4.226.60.27 03:12, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]Please bring your opinions to discussion before reverting. [1] Citing a nearly year old poll is incorrect as, for one, polls are not consensus, and for another... its over a year old. Discussion has occured, and an actual consensus has been formed as well. ~Rangeley (talk) 22:23, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- Please bring it to discussion before reverting again. ~Rangeley (talk) 23:09, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Please do not revert without discussing, as you did at Iraq War. There is disucssion ongoing on the talk page, and when we arrive at some consensus, the article will be edited accordingly. Your input would be greatly welcome in the discussion at Talk:Iraq War. -GTBacchus(talk) 23:10, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Libyan Civil War
[edit]Hey, there was a disambiguation page created for "libyan civil war" located here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libyan_civil_war. Having read your comments on the validity of the pre-2011 'libyan' conflicts I figured you might be interested in weighing in on whether having a disambiguation page is worthwhile or not. The discussion is located here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion#Libyan_Civil_War. 174.114.87.236 (talk) 07:36, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to North–South divide (England) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Disruptive editing in article "Greek bailout referendum, 2015"
[edit]Please use talk pages and put up your arguments if you delete relevant content. If the left-wing professors are grouped in a para here is no sense to delete the essence of the grouping, that they are all left.--EconomicsEconomics (talk) 07:39, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Greek bailout referendum, 2015 edit warring
[edit]You've deleted a tag pointing to a discussion on the talk page. This is three times you have reverted me. Take the matter to the discussion page. I see above you have already been warned of this issue. You'll be reported for edit warring very swiftly if you revert me again.
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for March 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Local government in Northern Ireland, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bangor and Colerain. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Disambiguation link notification for September 27
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cerveteri, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page BC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
