ANP
[edit]Your edits are about Rocky J. Suhayda's party, but the article is about the original ANP, so please stop changing the lead. Rocky J. Suhayda's party is already mentioned in the article. Dougweller (talk) 14:26, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
- Again, this is not the original ANP. Rockwell's party no longer exists. If you think you have sources meeting our criteria at WP:RS saying that it is, discuss them on the talk page but please don't keep changing the lead. Dougweller (talk) 15:02, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
- I don't know how that link got there, but Rockwell's party doesn't exist (and recall that it changed its name to the National Socialist White People's Party). I've removed the link. Dougweller (talk) 15:28, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
Welcome
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The Wikipedia community has developed various poicies and guidelines to improve the quality of the content and to make it easier for editors to get along with each other (see list above).
In particular, Wikipedia requires the use of independent, reliable sources. Please see WP:RS. An organization's website is not a reliable source, in part because the purpose of its website is to promote the organization - it is not independent or objective. If you disagree with this policy, you can propose changes to it on the policy's talk page. Until your changes are accepted by the Wikipedia community, however, the policy continues to apply.
Also, please note WP:3RR, which prohibits editors from engaging in "revert wars". Instead, you are encouraged to discuss and explain contentious edits on the article's talk page. If you are able to convince other editors and get consensus for the changes, then you can make them without them being reverted. Until you get consenus for the changes, however, the original verion of the article must remain. I hope this helps you understand how to contribute constructively to Wikipedia.
