Welcome #2
[edit]Ditto the above, including "if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page".
If you wish less public communication, feel free to email me by: 1) click on this: Special:Emailuser; 2) enter pdfpdf into the box; and 3) click on "Submit".
By-the-way (Changing subject):
1) I've added some information for you on Talk:Army Combat Badge#Contested deletion.
2) On the matter of copyvio:
- the text this is 'copied' from is an Army Instruction (Army) (DI(A)) - That's usually the problem. The ADF generally puts copyrights on pretty-well everything, (particularly web pages). Interestingly, the two DI(A) PERS we've been looking at do NOT have copyright statements on them, so it's probably safe to copy them.
- Note that 'unclassified' does NOT mean that something is not under copyright. (The whole of www.defence.gov.au that is accessible to the public is unclassified, but most of it is copyright.)
- Similarly, "Uncontrolled if printed" does not mean that something is not under copyright per se. (However, most things that have that label seem not to be classified, and not copyright.)

[edit]There used to be an Australian Military History talk page, but it now seems to have merged into Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history. Never-the-less, Australians have a strong presence there. Also, some very useful people keep an eye on that page, so if you have any "difficult" questions, that page is a good place to ask them.
