[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Tight Wad Hill has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YUGryStUT4&feature=PlayList&p=CE44B9E04A553FA8&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=38 (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 02:03, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Silencer fart has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Cry (Kelly Clarkson song), you will be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Alan - talk 17:27, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Just putting "i" as the edit summary provides no useful information. Thank you. –CapitalLetterBeginning (talk) 18:27, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Why does Wikipedia always delete the pages I make? requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as Why does Wikipedia always delete the pages I make?, you will be blocked from editing. Eeekster (talk) 02:35, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you. A note on your recent edits

[edit]

This is not a template, but a message from a wikipedia administrator. I believe you are trying to improve wikipedia. However, many of your edits were reverted because they did not look constructive. Please do listen and try to follow: it takes some time to understand how to improve articles and some learning steps are essential:

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did to Sing for the Moment, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Alan - talk 03:17, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A note from TheSundaySun:

[edit]

I'm sorry for my recent edits lately. Sometimes I put things on pages that I should not. I am not complaining, although sometimes I think the things I put on are productive. The page for Lady Gaga's song Paparazzi basically says the same thing I said in "Sing for the Moment", that it was critically acclaimed for it's catchy beat and strong lyrics. On the Paparazzi page, this has not been deleted since; many of my pages were completely deleted only hours after they were posted containing useful information. I strongly apologize for my edits if you (referring to the Wikipedians and administrators) were offended. I'm saying some of my edits are in no way offensive. I hope my edits to The Eminem Show were not offending to you either. I made the "censored version" part. I also hope editing your own user talk page is not vandalism to Wikipedia.

you're not offending people. There are guidelines to wikipedia, that if not followed, edits can and usually are reverted, and created pages removed. You also need to use edit summaries when you edit articles, not just put an I there. This tells other editors what/why you made a change. If you read the top of your talk page here, there are links to wikipedia's manual of style, how to create pages, etc. which is all helpful in knowing what is acceptable and what isn't. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
