Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia by creating the page Asmoru. Your test worked, and has been or will soon be removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Don't recreate the article unless you have verifiable sources showing that this term is notable. NawlinWiki 19:16, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
That was a legitimate article submission, please undelete. Asmoru has been used on many message boards, I'll be happy to provide links - I was unable to supply documentation as the deletion Nazis nuked it before I could post links. Stop suppressing the free exchange of asmoru.
See no personal attacks. Then see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. - Lucky 6.9 19:33, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip, but the deletion of asmoru is a personal attack on me - you don't seem to be upset about that for some reason. - TheOtherWhiteMeat 19:36, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
No, it is not. Removing content is done on a daily basis. I honestly regret upsetting you, but the term is a neologism and not widely used internet slang. It doesn't warrant an encyclopedia article, at least not yet. - Lucky 6.9 19:45, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
You wait and see, asmoru has been in the internets lexicon for months now - I hear it in person it's so pervasive. Asmoru is all over the net, I can't login without 10 aim windows containing that word. I must read it 300 times a day on 10 different message boards.TheOtherWhiteMeat 19:52, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
It earns exactly zero Google hits. I really don't have time to argue with you about this. Please let it drop. - Lucky 6.9 20:04, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
You must be using Chinese Google, considering what has gone on today. I got Web Results 1 - 10 of about 59 for asmoru. (0.02 seconds) This thinly veiled attempt at suppressing the free exchange of ideas is getting more preposterous by the minute.TheOtherWhiteMeat 19:52, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Since you can't appear to be civil about this, you're taking a twenty-four-hour time out. You can return and edit positively when the block lifts, but if you continue to cause problems, the next block will be longer. Think about it. - Lucky 6.9 22:34, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
I merely pointed out that there were Google search results. I'm sorry correcting you is considered "uncivil." TheOtherWhiteMeat 14 September 2006
Do not remove warnings
[edit]Please stop. If you continue to remove legitimate warning messages from your talk page, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Lordkazan 15:50, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
lol, I was cleaning the page up. I didn't know that editing of my own talk page was disallowed. Could you link me to some documentation on that policy? --TheOtherWhiteMeat 21:39, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
That would be Wikipedia:Vandalism. The relevant excerpt is (emphasis added):
Deleting the comments of other users from article Talk pages, aside from removal of internal spam, or deleting entire sections of talk pages, is generally considered vandalism. Removing personal attacks is often considered legitimate, and it is considered acceptable to archive an overly long Talk page to a separate file and then remove the text from the main Talk page. The above does not apply to the user's own Talk page, where users generally are permitted to remove and archive comments at their discretion, except in cases of legitimate warnings, which they are generally prohibited from removing, especially where the intention of the removal is to mislead other editors. Note that restoring comments to a user's talk page after they have removed them is generally considered edit warring and/or harassment and may result in a block if an invalid or unimportant warning is restored without need.

I wasn't attempting to mislead any editors, I was attempting to clean the page up. When do said warnings become "unimportant?" enough to merit removal, should I be inclined to do so?--TheOtherWhiteMeat 22:04, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
