Windows Latest moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Windows Latest, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CUPIDICAE💕 12:40, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure how many more citations do I need to add? The site has been referred by media houses like CNN - is that not enough?
My article is similar to this article 'Bleeping Computer' or Neowin TheMayankParmar (talk) 15:39, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your article is spam, written purely for your benefit about your own website. CUPIDICAE💕 15:41, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's a wiki page for the website, describes what it is and its coverage history. What can I do to not make it appear as a spam?
Isn't this page Neowin a spam too then? TheMayankParmar (talk) 15:57, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I tried creating this page back in 2018 and I was told I don't have enough citations i.e the site is not well known. I've worked on this aspect and my work has now been recognized by large media publications, so I am trying to create the page again. My rivals (as highlighted above) have their own Wikipedia page written in the same pattern, so why not me? TheMayankParmar (talk) 16:06, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is entirely self serving for you so i suggest you stop trying to force it on Wikipedia. Your rivals aren't our problem. CUPIDICAE💕 16:46, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I just rewrote the page. Can you check?
Sure, rivals are not your problem, but those pages have been created by the owner of the site, similar to what I am doing, but I disclosed it publicly. TheMayankParmar (talk) 16:49, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Windows Latest

[edit]

Hello TheMayankParmar,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Windows Latest for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.
