Storyboard writers
[edit]Hi,
I noticed you added storyboard writers to List of CatDog episodes. They are usually not included, one reason being that they clutter the table with too much information, and it becomes hard to read on smaller screens. There's currently a discussion on this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television#Storyboarders listed?. – nyuszika7h (talk) 16:30, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
{{Reply to|[[User:Nyuszika7H|Nyuszika7H}}) I have read your message and I am very sorry. I did not mean to provide an inconvenience to mobile users. I will go back to previous articles that I have re-edited and remove storyboarders if needed. Again, I'm very sorry and you will see those re-edits very soon. Also, quick question, when is it okay to include storyboarders on a wikipedia page? TheHonestEditor (talk) 22:27, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
- No need to apologize, you didn't do anything really bad. And I wasn't talking about just mobile users. It's a bit crowded even on my 1600x900 screen, but it's even worse on smaller resolutions such as 1024x768 or 1366x768, which is common on netbooks and some desktop users may also still have an old monitor.
- The way you use that template is
{{Reply to|Nyuszika7H}}
(do not copy the code from the editor, just copy what you see). Or you can use "re" as a shortcut instead of "Reply to", too.
- I have no opinion on the importance of storyboard writers personally, but as some others have said at the linked discussion, they aren't really considered more important than other animators or crew, and we simply don't have enough space in the episode tables. If an individual episode is notable enough to have its own episode, it may be appropriate to list the storyboarders in that episode's article. nyuszika7h (talk) 22:14, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
Welcome
[edit]Hello, TheHonestEditor, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you created appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.
I have moved the content of the article to your user page for you, so that you can expand on it there.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Disambiguation link notification for April 11
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of My Life as a Teenage Robot episodes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bryan Andrews. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm Cameron11598. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Unravel (video game)— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Cameron11598 (Talk) 03:13, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

Using MobyGames as a source
[edit]Hi there. I've notice you added the staff credits to Super Mario-related articles using MobyGames sources. Per WP:VG/S#Unreliable sources, MobyGames is not considered a reliable source as it relies on user generated content, so I therefore removed your additions. In future, please do not use MobyGames for adding staff credits. Thanks. – // Hounder4 // 05:53, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Lego credits
[edit]Hello there, I noticed that you added a couple sets of credits to various Lego video game articles, thanks for that! However, it seems that on some pages--for example on Lego Batman 3 and Lego Marvel SH--some fields exceed the maximum length. Per our infobox documentation, these fields should only cover the peopole deemed the most significant for that field for the respective game (e.g. for artist the Art Director or, if not present, Lead Artist(s)), could you make sure that this is the case for the articles you edited? Thanks! Lordtobi (✉) 06:34, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
Discussion on ChalkZone episode list
[edit]I'd like to make a big congrats to you for putting the director, writer, and storyboarded credits on the Season 2 section of List of ChalkZone episodes! Will you be doing the same for Seasons 3 and 4? Elijah Abrams (talk) 07:28, 26 July 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove column formatting from TV episode lists as you did at List of Rugrats episodes.[1][2] Column formatting provides consistency between seasons. --AussieLegend (✉) 08:56, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
Ampersands in TV and film
[edit]Hi there, re: these edits, you should be aware that ampersands (&) are typically used in American TV and film to indicate teams. (See this, for example). So arbitrarily adding an ampersand for "Steve Tompkins & Michael Caine" and "Eric Horsted & Scott Kreamer", would not be correct, as they do not appear to be teams. Similarly where you changed
- Michael Caine, Russ Carney and Ron Corcillo, Steve Tompkins
- to
- Michael Caine, Russ Carney, Ron Corcillo & Steve Tompkins
This suggests that Corcillo and Tompkins are a writing team, when it actually appears that Corcillo and Carney are a team. Thus, they should get the ampersand. Hope that helps. Thanks and regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:41, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hi TheHonestEditor! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of The Simpsons (season 28) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:The Simpsons (season 28), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 23:56, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, the only reason I reverted it was because I've discussed with the editor who changed it originally to stop changing it back to his preferred vision. I wasn't trying to edit war. Thank you. TheHonestEditor (talk) 00:10, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
- Haha, I can't always tell. Even I make mistakes. Thanks for the clarification, and happy editing~ Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 20:20, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
