Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Jonathan Bennett (actor). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it.

Adding citations

Thank you for adding citations to our articles – this is an essential task, and one that I wish more new editors would take on. I don't in any way want to discourage you from continuing to do this, but ... do please make sure that the citations you add are to reliable sources. Those are likely to include books published by university or other solid presses, articles in peer-reviewed academic journals, and pieces in the mainstream national press. In the vast majority of cases, random websites on the internet are not reliable (some exceptions might be the websites of notable institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the FAO or the BBC).
