Autoconfirmed

[edit]

To become autoconfirmed, all you have to do is wait for four days. If there is an urgent edit you want to make you can bring it up to me or anyone else whom you've talked on on Wikipedia who knows their way around. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 01:33, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I can wait 4days. Thanks. --TheGraduate2012 (talk) 02:20, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could you show me the page that image is found on? It would be easier to determine what kind of licensing status it has. And just to let you know, I'm probably going to have to ask someone else for help with this anyways because images are one of my weakest areas, but I'll make sure that either the image gets uploaded or (if the license isnt compatible) you can get a reasoning you'll understand for why we can't use it. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 18:50, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think I found it at http://www.cici-photos.com/albums/Leona/normal_58946508simplyinfatuated1118200925104AM.jpg. I'll get back to you in a few minutes. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 18:51, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't believe you can upload the image to Wikipedia because it doesn't say anywhere on the site that the images can be used freely, and Wikipedia's licensing policies are such that once an image appears on Wikipedia, it can be used freely anywhere else. Thus, we would need the consent of the people who host the photo website before we could display any of their photos. However, I don't work with images, and if you're still interested in uploading you may want to ask your question to a wider audience at this page. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 19:03, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Registered

I'm not sure what you mean by "a registered user". Everyone is automatically registered if they have an account ... is there something you found you couldn't do unless you become "registered" for it? Please show me if so. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 23:42, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If it's to edit those pages, that's just the same as autoconfirmed. You'll be okay in a day or so. It is technically possible to get the autoconfirmed status early, but only an administrator can do that, and it isn't usually done for the purpose of regular editing (otherwise almost everyone would ask for it). -- Soap Talk/Contributions 23:46, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, you should hit the 4 day mark in just a few minutes if it's done in such a way that it's exactly timed to the minute you first registered. If not it'll be about a day. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 23:47, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I was recently coming to edit wikipedia, and I was found that I was blocked. When I looked for the reason it said that I was a sockpuppet of TrEeMaNsHoE, and while the editor that accused me wasn't sure, they thought we share the same interest in articles. I am here to ask for unblocking, because I am not TrEeMaNsHoE. I edit on a variety of articles, and the one he pended me for the same are just some of them. Nothing but an a few pages links the two of us, so I don't see why this happened . Please help.--TheGraduate2012 (talk) 21:42, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

No checkuser was used as it says, "No CU neccessary". If you will eview my edits, you will see that only some of my edits resemble TrEeMaNsHoE, and that I have made contributions to pages other thaan those. Another thing is that when I was looking at my case, I looked at the links and the evidence presented was for a user FiGlEaFbOoK, and not for me. Please review at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TrEeMaNsHoE.--TheGraduate2012 (talk) 01:16, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Per checkuser confirmation stipulated below. Kuru talk 01:30, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am a checkuser, and before I declined the request above, I ran a query after Muzemike asked me privately for a sanity check. J.delanoygabsadds 01:24, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
