[edit]According to wikipedia policy, You should use independent 3rd party reliable sources, see WP:RS. The links you provided are self-references, see WP:SPS. Thanks for your contributions, LetsdrinkTea 01:52, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Go to preferences, and edit the section that says "Signature", using HTML to format your signature as you wish. Mine would be <font color="maroon">Lets</font><font color="olive">drink</font><font color="blue">Tea</font>. Its good to have a link to your User page, talk page and possibly contribs as well. LetsdrinkTea 02:05, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Be sure you check the box that says "raw signature" LetsdrinkTea 02:16, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:03, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]I don't know anything about categories, but I just tested the fact tag against a category, and you're right, it doesn't work. One editor who I know used to know about categories is User:Viriditas. He may have come across this before, and there may be a workaround. However, usually people just remove categories they disagree with. You're right that it's a way to avoid NPOV and sourcing requirements. It matters less when it's things like "English people," but with other categories e.g "criminals" and worse, it matters a lot. SlimVirgin talk|contribs 19:21, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for adding a reference to this page, something I've long neglected. I just cited a proper secondary source and hope you don't mind that I deleted yours (as self-referential="primary"), which information is found on the GFH official website. I anticipate that the page content will be expanded relatively soon. -- with appreciation, Deborahjay (talk) 07:14, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
