Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 19:01, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, TheFactCheckerOfNY. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Baltia Airlines, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. jcc (tea and biscuits) 17:29, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest

[edit]

Jcc, thanks for your message. I'm not sure why I'm receiving that and why the Baltia page has that new notification, as I presented information that is entirely available publicly. I am not affiliated with the company in any way. Thanks TheFactCheckerOfNY (talk) 00:14, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's is because 1) all your edits are to the Baltia page 2) you just, even after receiving this message, removed all the sourced criticism of the airline. It is clear that your aim is to promote the airline, should you continue to remove the criticism, which is all sourced, on the article, I will have no option but to report you for promotional editing. jcc (tea and biscuits) 08:11, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
