Thanks for your contributions to 2030 Russian presidential election. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 18:08, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Important information"

[edit]

Could you explain what "important information" you were restoring in this edit? Cheers, Number 57 12:35, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

contents that were important shold been on infobox
also are you that guy who makes any election page an eyesore? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVIl_DJl5NU
that explains why you were hated. Vladimir Gluten (talk) (pArOdY) 13:12, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Again, what content do you think you were restoring? Number 57 14:34, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
| election_name = 2026 Russian legislative election
| party7 = {[Independent politician|Independents]]
| map_upright =
| before_image = {[File:Vyacheslav Volodin (15-01-2024).jpg|x70px|Vyacheslav Volodin]]
| after_image =
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
That sounds important, isn't it? This also in 2021 Russian legislative election and before. How about you retire and don't make any election pages an eyesore Vladimir Gluten (talk) (pArOdY) 15:08, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In most cases no – I'm not entirely sure you realise that most of this coding is unnecessary, and you are also wrong (in most cases) about the 2021 article:
  • The election name field is not required as the infobox automatically uses the same title as the article. This field is not used in the 2021 article's infobox because it is not necessary
  • There is no need to link independents in the party7 field – just using "| party7 = Independents" has the same effect, and is the same coding as used in the 2021 article.
The only actual change was removing the image of Volodin. Why is a tiny, barely visible image of him important to have?
I would advise that instead of blindly reverting changes that you do not entirely understand, if you wish to see the impact of an edit, you view the former and current version of a page side-by-side to see what the actual impact is. Cheers, Number 57 15:14, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe this is not important to you, but for some it is important.
Ok "| party7 = Independents" so what?
Hmm, why there would be an image of a leader on the bottom of infoboxes on a russian LEGISLATIVE election? You should understand that Legislative elections in Russia is not like Presidential or Gubernational ones
Legislative elections = Vote for which political party leader gets the Chairman of the State Duma stance.
While Presidential or Gubernational = Vote for which candidate gets the stance, nominated by political party or independent. Vladimir Gluten (talk) (pArOdY) 15:32, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The name of the chairman is listed. My question is why that is not enough and why a tiny photo of them is deemed important. This is not an election where voters are voting for an individual. Number 57 15:47, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When is just a name, anyone will wonder "What does he look like?"
When there's a photo, anyone will be "Yes this is him"
Yes this is not an election where voters are voting for an individual. You're right, i didn't no that. Russian elections are a sham anyway since Vladimir Putin was elected.

Your signature

[edit]

Your signatures are borderline problematic. Joe Biden? Vladimir Gluten? Impersonating (making fun of?) Number 57? Please change your signature to be less disruptive. – Hilst [talk] 18:49, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

i did nothing wrong The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test 05:24, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid you did; see the related ANI thread. You used disruptive signatures, inappropriate edit summaries, and otherwise made edits which seem calculated to annoy other editors and which at least very much had that effect. You may have thought it was funny, and there's nothing wrong with a bit of levity if it's kept appropriate, but if your attempts at humor are annoying and upsetting other editors rather than amusing them then it's time to knock it off. Seraphimblade Talk to me 06:05, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok then remove me from this website entirely if I'm annoying.
