GOW2

Could you please explain why you think disambiguation page GOW2 should be replaced by a redirect to Gears of War 2? That would be more like GoWII for God of War II amirite?

I don't know. A quick look about the internet finds many places where it is called GOW2. The importance here is not that one game has claim to the abbreviation above the other, but that people find the article they are looking for without too much hassle.
