You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kristy Dempsey (Author) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, TheAuthorWikiGuy. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Kristy Dempsey, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. This implies you are her son, or know her son. Therefore, you have a conflict of interest. Please note that "her son" is not a reliable source, and nor is Amazon, or any other website primarily aimed at selling her books. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Kristy Dempsey. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Please do not remove these tags, as they are relevant. The article does not clearly show why they pass WP:GNG, and you have a conflict of interest. Do not remove these tags again. How can i move a current article created by me to a private space in wikipedia so i can work on it privately? One user recommended a Move to userspace but I did not understand what he meant. Thanks TheAuthorWikiGuy (talk) Tue, June 9, 2015 10:40 BST

Now that there is a deletion discussion ongoing, it wouldn't be appropriate to move the page to your userspace until the discussion is closed. I will make a comment on the discussion page also endorsing your request to have the page moved to your userspace. If the discussion is closed in support of that option, the page will be moved to a page that begins with User:TheAuthorWikiGuy/ where you'll be able to work on it with fewer interruptions. As discussed on IRC I have closed the discussion and moved the article to User:TheAuthorWikiGuy/Kristy Dempsey. I've also done a little cleanup and added a "userspace draft" message box. You're welcome to improve the page at its current location and to submit it for a review by an experienced editor when you think it's ready to go live again. Huon (talk) 02:08, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User:TheAuthorWikiGuy/Kristy Dempsey, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion.
