Speedy deletion nomination of Low Wages Tax

[edit]

Hello The7thMarxBrother,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Low Wages Tax for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. William Reid Boyd (talk) 11:11, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Sources

[edit]

Please be careful to support any changes you make with reliable sources. I've had to partially revert two of your edits, because they were not supported by sources, or were inaccurate. Even with the one source you included, on the page Carlos Enrique Díaz de León, you used a primary source by an author whose more recent work contradicts that source, which makes the content untenable. Material you included in the above article appears to have been copied from the copyright web page http://conspiracyresearch.proboards.com/thread/77/james-patrick-hosty. Copying text directly from a source is a copyright violation. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, the content had to be removed. Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Meters (talk) 18:25, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Billy the Kid. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. We keep asking you to source your changes. Eventually you will be blocked if you keep making unsourced changes. Meters (talk) 18:23, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Meters, there's a bit of a bleeding ulcer here - plainly this editor never reads their talk page (or at any rate never acts on it - they were pointed to MOS:SECTIONCAPS in 2015), does not appear to have edited any talk page since 2013, and on reviewing their edits, they're basically all junk - uncited, and mostly introducing masses of additional verbiage that doesn't actually improve the page at all (my personal favourite is always changing "Napoleon" to "Napoleon 1st" on pages about the Napoleonic Wars, as if we might otherwise think it was Napoleon III...).
I'm going to keep an eye on their edits but I'm not sure what else we should do. Pinkbeast (talk) 04:01, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Adele Lacy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
