Well... I se that you have been around here awhile. Seems you deserve a welcome note anyway. Not sure what you were trying to do with the categories on Paul Ramdohr, but he is listed on the List of mineralogists. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Vsmith (talk) 22:05, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
Mineralogy - possibly mis-placed article
[edit]Hi, just wanted to ping you on Bobdownsite which looks to be part of your Mineralogy class. I don't know if that was supposed to go in the user's sandbox, as it looks like a list of working notes. As it sits in mainspace it may be tagged for a Speedy Delete as lacking context to identify the topic. Just letting you know, thanks! CrowCaw 02:43, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
- I've moved that to the users space (User:Guesswho03721/Bobdownsite) and deleted the page as it was an improperly formatted mess and definitely not ready for publication in article space. Left the user a note on their talk. Vsmith (talk) 03:15, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
- Correction: redid that and actually moved to draft:User:Guesswho03721/Bobdownsite2 - in need of lots of help. Vsmith (talk) 04:12, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
Thanks to both of you, yes, we're working with the Wiki Education Foundation The Prospector (talk) 18:02, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
