[edit]You should probably change the triple parentheses in your signature. I think most editors when they see it are not going to have a positive reaction and I think it will be considered disruptive under the WP:DISRUPTNAME policy. Your last edit also violated one of the ARBPIA editing restrictions If an edit is reverted by another editor, its original author may not restore it within 24 hours of the first revert made to their edit
. I think you should self-revert. Seraphim System (talk) 19:51, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
- @Seraphim System: You're probably right - I've changed my signature now. Well, the only reason you reverted was becuase my edit summary was poorly written, potentially implying that the content of the edit was your idea. Now that that's been sorted out, I don't see any reason to self-revert. TPGstalk 20:21, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
- That's not the only reason - the other reasons are evident to anyone who reviews the talk page. There is no consensus to change Israel's form of government right now. The RfC was closed shortly before your edit by an IP who should not even be editing in the topic area and it was closed without an actual closing statement - most likely that close is going to be challenged. You've made major changes to the article about content that is subject of a currently open and prolonged dispute between multiple editors without any discussion on the talk page. I would advise that you self-revert.Seraphim System (talk) 20:33, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
- You're the one who suggested that the Government and politics section should be changed before a consensus on the lede is reached since the lede should be a reflection of the sections' content. Also, my edit clearly falls under WP:BEBOLD. I sincerely can't understand your rational for asking me to self-revert. TPGstalk 20:37, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
- Most likely the content is going to be reverted by another editor anyway. You had not received the sanctions alert, but now that you have received a DS alert you should be aware of the editing restrictions on the page. Failing to abide by them can and does result in escalating sanctions.Seraphim System (talk) 20:39, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
- If another editor reverts, I will not undo it before a consensus is reached. I am not the slightest interested in escalating this into an edit war. TPGstalk 20:43, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

You last edit violates both 1RR and the 24 hour requirement of ARBPIA. Please take a moment to review the editing restrictions on the article. If you don't understand them you should ask one of the admins. In this case, you should probably self-revert before this gets posted to AE. Seraphim System (talk) 05:25, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
