Note
Sorry to give you more work, just a note that more auditing is welcome for Special:Contributions/2600:1700:C690:3640::/64, for instance [1] citing a 1916 source, —PaleoNeonate – 07:24, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- @PaleoNeonate: It may surprise you, but I don't happily delete factual information. In this case I don't know, I better don't edit that article. Tgeorgescu (talk) 09:35, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- That you looked is enough, thanks. I mentioned because it was from the same as 2600:1700:c690:3640:1552:eb:e47:9e44, that such old sources are rarely used on WP and I also don't have more time to look for more recent sources there. —PaleoNeonate – 10:10, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
Summary that you may find useful
Scholars that disagree with your personal preferences are not "fringe" because they disagree with your personal preferences. They do not cease from being "mainstream" if they disagree with your personal subjective opinion. You are not the arbiter of what is or what isn't fringe or mainstream. As someone once told me: "Wikipedia is not a website for ventilating our own personal opinions." This is not the place for you to discredit every word and letter in the Bible. You can keep that to yourself. In addition, I'd like you to focus on the site's policies onreverting. They may be of interest to you. Also, check out this page. Read it slowly and carefully and you'll find out why is it of application. Rusdo (talk) 02:11, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page gnome) To avoid being one's personal preference or opinion, the best way is to present the most recent sources by prominent people in the field. Statements that explicitly say what is now accepted as consensus are ideal if they can be found there (this is sometimes more difficult to provide). Then one's personal preferences shouldn't matter, since WP articles aim to represent that... —PaleoNeonate – 10:04, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
Kingdom of Israel (United Monarchy)
Bro, that kingdom existence, such is the opinion of the majority of archaeologists who support Amihai Mazar's chronology, who are the vast majority. The fact that you don't like it is irrelevant. Cheerio -Karma1998 (talk) 10:56, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
