Re:Adoption
[edit]Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I see that you would want to be adopted, and I have some free slots that I can fill, so how about that? To reply to this message, just click the little green "talk" at the end of the message, and then click "click here to start a new topic" button in the infobox below the nav menu. Please accept my apologies if you think I treated you like a baby in this message. Leujohn (talk) 10:30, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! I'm almost ready now. As I said before, please don't email me. I'm sorry if I frightened you off on my reply, but I was pretty stressed out then. I just wanted to ask you what you wanted your adoption subpage's name be. After that, you'll be all set to start. Cheers! Leujohn (talk) 13:38, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'm ready. You can start any time you please. Lessons will be found here and your adoption supage here. The link to the lessons are included in your adoption subpage. If you ever lose the link to your adoption subpage, type: User:Testingwhatmatters/mreyes into the searchbox. Looking forward to our cooperation. Leujohn (talk) 05:12, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- By the message you left me on the subpage I will tell you this. Pick a lesson and start doing it on your own at your own pace. Cheers! Leujohn (talk) 07:07, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:NOCTI Company Logo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:NOCTI Company Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:52, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
This image can/should be deleted. I'm not sure how to do that, so I thought I'd just let time take its course. Delete at will Testing123 (talk) 13:23, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Commercial links and advertisements
[edit]Hi! Thanks for your interest in testing-related topics on Wikipedia. We welcome your contributions to content. However, your contributions so far have only been obvious commercial links as an advertisement. Please note that this is not allowed on Wikipedia. Iulus Ascanius (talk) 19:04, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi again! Your article on NOCTI is a good start, and of course an external link to NOCTI's website is appropriate there because it provides educational information about the article topic (obviously). What I was talking about was edits like you did to Online assessment, where a link to NOCTI is no different than a link to AMP, Prometric, Pearson VUE, Kryterion, or any other of the hundred companies that offer online assessment. External links should provide educational information, so what would be appropriate for an external link would be a guide for teachers using online testing, a website that lists scholarly articles on the topic, etc. Check out the external links at Computer-adaptive testing, which provide good examples. If you would like some specific suggestions on any articles related to assessment, please let me know.Iulus Ascanius (talk) 19:59, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
