Edit warring
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Antinoos69 (talk) 19:35, 12 August 2018 (UTC)

- I wish to point out that Testefye has changed the time stamp on my edit warring message, a most disturbing development. The correct time stamp can be seen by checking the page history. I call on Testefye to correct whatever it is he or she has done. Antinoos69 (talk) 21:59, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
- It was an accident, I am new to citations and I grant you permission to edit the original. I won't explain my reason because it is irrelevant, however it was not nefarious. Thank you Testefye (talk) 22:11, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
- When a soft edit warring notice is placed on one’s talk page, it is considered proper to seek consensus on the relevant article’s talk page, as the notice indicates, and all the more so when one had already been directed to that talk page through edit comments. It is considered improper to respond by what can be called edit-warring notice warring, as you may discover. As you have refused to seek any such consensus, I have posted regarding this matter on the article’s talk page. I trust you will respectfully engage there. Antinoos69 (talk) 07:17, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
- Antinoos69I have not refused to seek consensus. Therefore I dispute your assertion. It is in the best interest of all parties involved that you engage in good faith when you characterize my actions. Testefye (talk) 05:15, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
