Vandalism accusations

[edit]

I note that you are a fairly recent newcomer to the ranks of Wikipedia editors. Can I suggest that you should be very careful with your accusations of vandalism. The change I made was explained in editnotes, with reference to consensus formed in the talk pages of the relevant forum, and with reference to all three of Wikipedia's core content policies. The unregistered editors who reverted my changes, by contrast, gave no reason for their edits, thus breaking generally accepted etiquette. You then fail to acknowledge the reasons I gave for my edits, and fail to all show the principle of assuming good faith. Kevin McE (talk) 21:21, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I note that you subsequently repeated your accusation again me of vandalism, without any attempt to justify this action, although the matter had been raised on the talk page as well as here. I would expect you to be able to either explain your edits and accusations, or withdraw them and apologise. Kevin McE (talk) 16:50, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring on Giuseppe Rossi

[edit]

Continuing to edit war on this page in the face of overwhelming consensus on the current compromise solution to the player's nationality will result in you being blocked. You're not convincing anyone of your argument by continually making personal attacks, nor by making edits while logged out (as documented here). Please stop this, as yours is a distinctly minority opinion on this matter. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 07:47, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was just about to say exactly the same thing. Tesaux, you are in the minority on this issue, so I think I am well within my rights to revert your reverts. – PeeJay 08:28, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Again you are chanching the introduction sentence on the Giuseppe Rossi page, this is incredible...what is your problem with that football player? He is not an Italian football player according to you?--Tesaux (talk) 09:15, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Giuseppe Rossi, Three Revert Rule

[edit]

Hi Tesaux. Please be aware of the Three Revert Rule - WP:3RR. You have already reverted Giuseppe Rossi more than 3 times in the past 24 hours. Thanks. --hippo43 (talk) 10:13, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at 24 hours. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below.

If you are having content issues, please seek mediation (I suggest a third opinion) when your block expires. Xavexgoem (talk) 15:39, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for edit warring. You are welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below.
