Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Laurie Brady, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Meritorious Service Medal. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Old Pies

G'day Terlob, thanks yet again for all the work you are doing on player articles. Can you, especially as you get into the older players, check the Collingwood Forever website, http://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/players/ for date of death. As much as we all hate the Pies, that's actually a really good resource that they have created. I think an external link to that site is also warranted on each player's page. Cheers, The-Pope (talk) 05:05, 2 November 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for that - I was looking around for something similar to Blueseum and DemonWiki that I used for the Carlton and Melbourne players - that looks pretty spot on! Do you know of any similar sites for other clubs as well? Cheers Terlob (talk) 05:31, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
Essendon also have a pretty good site.[1] They have profiles for all players, including date of death and club of origin. Jevansen (talk) 08:28, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
Rhett Bartlett, son of KB, is working on one for the Tigers, [2] but its still a work in progress. The-Pope (talk) 13:26, 2 November 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Jack Stock

Hello Terlob,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jack Stock for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Djcheburashka (talk) 02:19, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

I have unreviewed a page you curated

Hi, I'm Shrikanthv. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, Billy Lynch (Australian footballer), and have un-reviewed it again. If you have any questions, please ask them on my talk page. Thank you. Shrikanthv (talk) 11:36, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Max J. Thomas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CombatWombat42 (talk) 07:56, 27 August 2015 (UTC)

The article John Altmann has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. 333-blue 12:19, 4 October 2015 (UTC)

As you may have seen, I just changed his stats from 3 games, 0 goals to 3 games, 1 goal because that's what he's listed as in my copy of the Encylopedia of VFL/AFL Footballers (9th ed). But on checking AFL Tables and AustralianFootball.com, I noticed they also have him listed as 0 goals. Would you mind double-checking your copy? Perhaps this is something that has been fixed between the 9th and 10th edition and my book is wrong. Cheers, Jenks24 (talk) 11:20, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi Jenks, just had a look at my copy and it was a typo on my part - nice catch! Terlob (talk) 10:06, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
