Cheap counter argument

I've been participating in some arguable unnecessary delete discussions lately because some editors believe for reasons that are unclear to me that inadequately sourced articles on non-notable topics should be deleted rather than redirected. It is a lot less overhead to boldly blank and redirect these articles than to send them to AfD or even PROD. If the redirection is deemed inappropriate, any editor can undo it at any point. Again. much cheaper WRT editor and administrator time than recreating the article or visiting WP:REFUND. ~Kvng (talk) 21:47, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
