The Hours
[edit]Hi Tennjam, I have reverted your changes on The Hours (film) because
- the lead of the article should summarise the rest of the article. As it develops, a plot section can be added, and possibly a themes section (feel free to add these) which can explore Laura Brown's sexuality (some analysts/reviewers have not described her as a lesbian). The lead could then include these aspects as it would be summarising the whole article. See WP:LEAD for more help with this.
- As for Virginia Woolf, her sexuality can also be mentioned in the main article, but I think that it is a little more complicated than "she was a lesbian" since she was married, and some have even suggested that she was not a very sexual person, even with Vita Sackville West. I'm not sure that this is in her bio, just trying to illustrate that it's not always as simple as calling someone a lesbian.
Anyway, I'm not trying to put you off. I intend to put some work into this article sometime soon, and it would be great if you do too. If you are interested in LGBT topics, you might want to take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject LGBT studies. If you have further thoughts, or disagree with me completely, please leave a message at my talkpage or the talkpage for the article. All the best, --BelovedFreak 16:22, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
