The way to add an article to a category is to include a category tag at the bottom of the article. In the case of the John Clarke article:

[[Category:Canadian social justice activists|Clarke, John]]

The stuff after the bar ("|") is an optional sort you can give to an article's listing in the category. It's mostly used with people's names to have them sorted by last name. —GrantNeufeld 06:18, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Canadian federal election, 2008

[edit]

Hello. I believe the link you added to Canadian federal election, 2008 does not meet the guidelines listed at WP:LINKSTOAVOID, so I have removed it. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; please consider integrating that material into the article instead of just linking to it. Further, by your username and previous contributions, it looks like you're probably connected to that website. Therefore, continuing to link there could be construed as advertising, see WP:EL#ADV. justinfr (talk/contribs) 17:17, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry but press releases are not considered reliable sources. While a group's website can be used as a source about itself attack websites such as ones you link to are not appropriate. Please only use reliable sources such as mainstream news articles, books, periodicals etc. 64.229.170.73 (talk) 22:15, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
