User talk:Templejoe2000/TikTok
The only section that was critiqued and removed was the subheading "Charlie & Dixie D'Amelio". The argument was that the section wasn’t relevant and seemed promotional. A few people agreed, but I feel as though the section is still relevant to the article. Charlie D'Amelio is the most popular and successful user on the platform. Giving examples of her past opportunities with large brands that were very successful is relevant in the context of the influencer marketing potential for both brands and users with large followings on the app. These largely successful brand deals with Charli show the massive opportunities the platform can provide for both companies and popular users, thus making it relevant to the TikTok article.
Week 12 update: Great work Joe! This is a much more solid contribution and the only thing I'd say it to integrate the section on Charli & Dixie D'Amelio into a single paragraph. Other than that your work is ready to be moved to live Wikipedia! Adrishaw (talk) 21:49, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
Week 10 peer review from Hwells Tik Tok is a hard topic to talk about especially because a lot of information is already out there and on the wiki page. I think you did a good job updating the new facts that have happened in the past couple of years so good job on that. I liked how you laid out the new facts and what you are putting into the different parts it was very organized and everything is well worded. You gave me the inspiration to organize my page a little more to give it a nice set up like that. As for changes, you could add its kind of hard to add anything else because you have pretty much the most recent information on your draft. overall good job! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hwells12 (talk • contribs) 00:21, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
