Mary Hopkin

[edit]

Hello temmaharbour; responding to your comment on my talk page, your content additions to Mary Hopkin look good for the most part. You obviously have a lot of information to add to the article, and other people can correct the grammar if need be. I tried to make the "tone" of the piece more impartial so it fits in with an encyclopedia article. But you are the one who knows the topic -- your contribution is invaluable. --Marysunshine 03:43, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have a huge problem using wiki, and I mean huge!!

Apart from being very confusing as I can never find anyway of sending messages to anyone. I am not sure if I have done this correctly

I am partially sighted and I can make a lot of text larger so I am more able to read it. But wiki gets very distorted and I find a lot of the pages difficult to use.

With ref. to the Mary Hopkin article. I removed the citation as I thought it was referring to the Film 'Where's Jack' and the comment that she had been offered a part in the film. This was not the case and I made the correction. I apologise if removing the link was wrong.

Any particular reason why you have removed a seemingly perfectly valid citation, along with your recent edit to Mary Hopkin ?

Your change to "Wikipedia:Citing sources"

[edit]

You recently left a message on my talk page asking me "Hi, Sorry what did I write that you do not agree with as I cannot find anything that has been reverted? temmaharbour". I had a look, and this relates to a change that you made to the guideline "Wikipedia:Citing sources" about a year ago, on 27 June 2008 [1]. For some unexplained reason, you inserted the sentence "Permitted use from www.maryhopkin.co.uk" in the section "General references versus inline citations". I suspect this was a mistake on your part, so I left a message on your talk page pointing it out. — Cheers, JackLee talk 07:54, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
