Disambiguation link notification for June 15
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Police surveillance in New York City, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Palantir (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Sidewalk Labs, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. JesseRafe (talk) 14:32, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up Jesse! I'll keep a closer eye on this next time Tecuixin (talk) 14:33, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, sorry. I thought that template was more friendly, but the main thing is the link to the MOS and it's not a warning. You've made quite a few edits in quick order to many pages on my watchlist and other editors have had to tidy up a bit afterwards, but you're continuing to make some of the same simple errors. Take a look at the fixes I made on the Yellow Book section of Sidewalk labs. It always goes "text[formatting][punctuation]<ref1><ref2>" no spaces. Your contributions are good and well-sourced, just take some time to refine. Look around on other pages, or even the one your editing to see the markup used to get desired results, and don't forget you can "show preview" before submitting to live. Cheers, JesseRafe (talk) 14:42, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
- Oh! Thanks for clarifying, duh that makes total sense. I'll make sure to do that in my upcoming changes. Thanks to you / other editors for cleaning up my mistakes :) Tecuixin (talk) 14:44, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
