Rotimi

[edit]

Tebsala, thank you for your great contributions to the Rotimi Fani-Kayode page. I agree he was a great son of Nigeria and a great ambassador for art throughout the world. I knew him for much of the last nine years of his life and it was a real pleasure to enjoy his friendship. Jkslouth (talk) 11:09, 6 May 2010 (UTC)jkslouth[reply]

Edits

[edit]

You recently made changes to one or more articles but you kept the Edit summary field empty. While it is not mandatory, it is very helpful to place a short and descriptive summary of changes made in your revision. For guidelines how to use this field, please read this Help page. By adding an edit summary, you allow other users to more easily identify constructive edits on the Recent Changes page, their Watchlist (see this page), or the articles edit history.

Please don't take this comment as negative remarks on your contributions!!

Please feel free to contact me via email or my talk page. Many thanks for your time. Tonkie67 19:39, 09 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Tebsala, I have twice now removed the lengthy passages based on that newspaper interview, for reasons given in the edit summary. Please do not re-add them without gaining consensus on the article discussion page; continued edits that have been reverted constitute edit warring and can lead to blocks. thank you, Nomoskedasticity (talk) 17:02, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Femi fani kayode.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 05:36, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:00, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Stanley Lawson, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://nigerianwiki.com/wiki/Stanley_lawson.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) MadmanBot (talk) 10:09, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Babatunde Rufai requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. @Celestina007

Please note that I don't know Babatunde Sodiq Rufai in any way. I first read about him in November 2019 when he was conferred with a PHD from one Benin University. On seeing his photo, I saw he was quite young. When I Googled his full name I was even more impressed. At that time, I promised my self that I would do a Wikipedia for him before the end of 2019. Feel free to Google the name "Babatunde Sodiq Rufai". I am sure you will be impressed yourself.

This article was not for adverts in any way but just to showcase to the world how few Nigerian young men like Rufai is making a difference in a country where lots of the young men drive in cybercrime and drugs. It is not easy for his fashion brand "WEAR IT ALL" to have top Afrcian movie star as brand ambassador.

Also, the Foundation has helped transformed communities, smail businesses and people. To crown it all, the guy is young but truly, I dont know how old he his.

I indulge you to please rethink your decision to delete this page but rather go throug the page and remove anything you feel is for advert purposes. I want you to truly see the world as a global village. You might be in Europe, America or Australia while I am in Africa. What I see, you might not see or vice versa. The is like my world, how a young man is impacting lives.

Thank Tebsala
