There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Request reason:

I think it is just a mistake and I'm not promoting anyone or my own business. I'm appealing to Wikipedia team to unblock me so I can also contribute to this Encyclopedia. Sincerely Team iTechism

Decline reason:

Usernames that suggest a group or shared use are not permitted ("Team" is in your name). You will need to describe your connection to the musician you attempted to write about, tell what topics you intend to write about, and propose a new username. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 14:44, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I didn't know about the word Team can't be used as a Username, besides that, I want to use iTechism as my new Username for Wikipedia account, so I can publish the useful articles in the future. I want to contribute to this community and want more guidance from the Team of Wikipedia to how to work or write articles in Wikipedia as there is no Video Tutorial available by Wikipedia. In the end, I want to clarify that I myself not promoting any business or individual, I just want to write the articles about the emerging talent in the music industry around me. Please guide me with the basic steps so I can be a part of this amazing community.

Decline reason:

I'm afraid that still won't work, as it implies a company and shared use. The best thing I can recommend would be something like "Todd at iTechism", which clearly identifies the account belongs to a single person. Also its clear that as an employee of iTechism you are not just here out of the goodness of your heart, you are looking to promote musicians. That will require the appropriate paid editing disclosure.CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 17:10, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

iTechism means a movement that reconciles technological innovation with the creation of art. Techism understands innovation, be it technological or philosophical, as a medium in and of itself. For this reason, Techism does not mean how it sounds. Dear CaptainEek, you said it's clear that as an employee of iTechism, you are not just here out of the goodness of your heart, you are looking to promote musicians. That will require the appropriate paid editing disclosure. I don't know why you are said that but that's for sure you are misunderstanding it, I'm not here to promote musicians only, I love to write about tech and trends. I again want to clarify that, I'm not getting paid for any articles here, and if I get paid in the future, I will love to share the information here. It's my first article on the Wikipedia, and I'm stuck on the weird username issue and want to admire you on your user name CaptainEek, don't know who approves it. Is it OK if I try to contact the person about I'm the article writing? I will ask you him/her for the commissions as you pre-visualize it. Thank you CaptainEek for your remarks and guide me further.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 10:35, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, iTechism is a "movement" means innovation, be it technological or philosophical, and iTechism is mine registered business about Graphic Design, SEO and Digital Marketing, I'm the sole owner of it with a couple of my employees. I'm planning to start a blog about SEO, where I will share detailed articles about the current SEO, and want to share those research articles on Wikipedia also. No, he is not my client, but I regularly visit National Academy of Performance Arts (NAPA) Pakistan, where a lot of artists works regularly. Almost all the artists there are famous and works internationally, and locally with a fan following.

Decline reason:

I don't think we have established the level of trust necessary for unblocking you to write about SEO-related topics - it's too spam-prone. An unblock might be possible if you agree to not edit about living people or any other commercial topic. MER-C 18:37, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Can you clarify the following points?

  1. You describe "iTechism" as a "movement", not a business, but there is a business called "iTechism", which advertises, among other things, SEO, "social media management", and "Brand identity". Are you connected to that business, as an owner, an employee, or in any other way?
  2. Is the person you have written about a client of yours or of a business you own or work for, or in any other way connected to you? JBW (talk) 17:00, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
