Hi, I got your message about the peer review and I am good with reviewing each other's articles. Mine is on eclectic psychotherapy and is a new page. Thanks! Pws97 (talk) 18:46, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
4/15 Peer Review
[edit]Hello TealPenguinFoot, I am one of the peers who is reviewing your page. I hope that my feedback is helpful in improving your article. Overall, I thought your edits will make a nice addition to Wikipedia. You may want to look into restructuring your first introductory paragraph to include the description of Hope Spots (i.e. Hope Spots can be MPA...) before adding quotations from Dr. Sylvia Earle. I feel as though a Wikipedia browser stumbling upon an article like this would be more interested in having a basic summary on the topic rather than to know what Dr. Sylvia Earle thinks about this topic. While the picture seems to have significant historical impact on Hope Spots, it is not visually exciting and useful to the general audience. A map of said Hope Spots might be better geared towards this kind of article. I also feel as though the section "Nominations" should come before "Partnerships".Bostonian49 (talk) 13:10, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the helpful recommendations! I re-orded the sections putting nominations above partnerships and I also re-orded the paragraphs of the introduction to focus on Hope Spots themselves before elaborating on the TED prize wish Sylvia Earle made to ultimately create them. This was really good feedback! Thanks! TealPenguinFoot (talk) 18:33, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
